Boracay Island Hopping Options
There are two ways to enjoy island hopping in Boracay. You can go on a private island hopping tour by renting your own boat or "bangka" or you can join other groups in a public island hopping tour.
Private Island Hopping Tours
What's great about private tours is you don't have to share the boat with people you don't know. This is perfect for families and groups who want some privacy. Your Boracay island hopping itinerary is also so much more flexible. If you wish to spend more time snorkeling or you want to spend the entire tour cliff diving at Magic Island, you can do so to your heart's content.
Public Island Hopping Group Tours
For public group tours, you have to share a large motorized boat with other groups. There are boats that can accommodate 20 pax, 30 pax and the bigger ones up to 45 pax.
You don't get to choose your boat and you certainly can't dictate how the Boracay island tour will go. You just have to go along with the entire group's itinerary. If your tour coordinator says 30-minutes of snorkeling, you can’t really complain unless you want to look like a diva in front of 30 or 40 other people. Group tours are recommended for couples looking for a cheap island hopping in Boracay.

Majority if not all hotels in Boracay including Discovery Shores Boracay, Boracay Holiday Resort and other popular and cheap Boracay hotels can help you book a Boracay island tour package.
